This work presents a scientific interest and great importance in the industry. The aim of this thesis is the investigation and analysis of the functional materials in two different technological areas, spintronics application and magnetic refrigeration. The magnetic properties and magnetocaloric effect are analyzed and discussed by the theoretical study. We use Monte Carlo simulation to study the magnetic properties of the Dendrimer models as nanomaterials with different morphologies in the framework of spintronics. We employ Ab-initio method (DFT) and Monte Carlo simulation for studying and analyzing the magnetic properties, magnetocaloric effect of MnAs compound and MnBi one as magnetic refrigeration materials. This work is the subject of an interesting study that takes a great importance in the industry and in the scientific research due to the importance of the materials studied. The results found are validated by experimental and theoretical methods. The Dendrimer models and the manganese alloy treated present promising results which make them excellent candidates in spintronic application and magnetic refrigeration.
